TO: OPERATORS OF ALL LINESSUBJECT: INAUGURATION OF LIMITED STOP SERVICE ON NO. 25 LINE, IN
BOTH DIRECTIONS
Effective Monday, April 9, Monday through Friday, designated limited stop buses will be operated on the No. 25 line, southbound during the A.M. peak and northbound during the P.M. peak between Mt. Washington Loop and Redwood Street and Hopkins Place.
During the A.M. peak, southbound designated buses will be scheduled to leave Mt. Washington Loop at 8:00 A.M. and 8:20 A.M. and will proceed over the regular route to Falls Road and 36th Street, then via:
South on Falls Road,
East on Lanvale Street,
South on Charles Street,
West on Biddle Street,
South on Park Avenue to
Hopkins Place and Redwood Street.Regular passenger stops will be made between Mt. Washington Loop and 36th Street, then passenger stops will be made (except in cases of emergency) only at limited service passenger stops, so designated by a separate sign (white letters on a red background in contrast to the regular bus stop sign having red letters on a white background) mounted on existing standards above the regular bus stop signs, and reading-

Park Avenue and Read Street
Park Avenue and Centre Street
and at a pedestal sign reading -
LIMITED BUS STOP located on Lanvale Street west of Charles Street.
Passenger stops will also be made at regular bus stops on Park Avenue from Centre Street to Redwood Street and Hopkins Place.
Southbound limited stop buses will be identified by a special destination sign displayed in the lower portion of the windshield, at the right side, and consisting of white letters on a red background reading -
REDWOOD ST.-LIMITED STOP During the P.M. peak, northbound designated buses will be scheduled to leave Hopkins Place and Redwood Street at 4:48 and 5:02 P.M., and will proceed over the present route to Maryland Avenue and Falls Road-Lanvale Street, the north on Falls Road to 36th Street, and north over the present route to Mt. Washington Loop.
Regular passenger stops will be made between Redwood Street and Hopkins Place and Howard and Centre Streets, then stops will be made (except in cases of emergency) only at limited service passenger stops, so designated by a separate sign as described in above instructions, mounted on existing standards and reading-

LIMITED BUS STOP on Falls Road south of 36th Street.
Regular passenger stops will be made between Falls Road and 36th Street and Mt. Washington Loop.
Northbound limited stop buses will be identified by a special destination sign displayed in the lower portion of the windshield, at the right side, and consisting of white letters on a red background reading:
MT. WASHINGTON-LIMITED STOP The issuance and acceptance of transfers, retransfer coupons and identification checks will be at interchange points of regular or limited passenger stops only.
Operators of limited stop buses will not make passenger stops, except those specifically designated, unless an emergency arises.
The running time for the limited service trips will be as follows:
