* - Denotes final Complete Day of Service, although vehicles operated into the early morning hours of the following day, due to Late Night or All-Night Service.

Note 1: Route 20 is unique among conversions in that it actually ran as both a rail and bus route coincidentally for a short period. Route #20 Bus began operations in May of 1948 over former Bus Route N, the West end of Rail Route #15, and along Rail Route #20 as far as Highlandtown. The section of the line between Highlandtown and Point Breeze was still operated as Rail Route #20 until it too was absorbed into the Bus line in July of 1948.

Note 2: Due to the rural condition of Kelly Avenue, Rail route #25 was converted to a Bus line in stages. In April of 1949, the line South of Mount Washington was converted to bus, with the remnant remaining as newly designated Route #48, which was later converted to bus as well, and finally combined with Bus route #25 to form a bus line similar to the original Rail line. See Route 48 for more details.

Note 3: MTA has set aside the "#25" designation for the Baltimore Streetcar Museum's route.

Note 4: Bus Route #28 has been cutback in stages since it's inception. Service along Liberty Heights Avenue has been handled by Metro Connection Routes since June 18, 1984 during Metro's operating hours. As a result of Light Rail's Southern extension, the line was cutback to Cherry Hill Light Rail Stop and Camden Yards on its Southern end on 2/1/93, with the Southern branches handled by new Bus routes #29 and #30. Finally, on 3/10/96, Route #28 became a Sunday only route as service cuts left it's remaining routing to be split between Bus routes #5 and #27.

Note 5: Bus Route #22 has seen several significant changes in its MTA operation.  "22 EXTENDED" begun on a lengthy extension through West Baltimore on September 7, 1971, which was incorporated into the regular route on September 3, 1972. Routes #34 and #57 were absorbed on June 22, 1975. Finally, the extended branch through West Baltimore was isolated into its own route, designated #16, on January 28, 2001
