This is an interesting stop on the line -
destined to expand outward in time. To some it might seem like a trivial matter
destined for the tidbits page, but to others, it is a source of endless
fascination: THE DESTINATION SIGN.
As a child, one could always find
fascination in the Destination signs of transit vehicles -as they displayed
points that were often unfamiliar at that time: "POINT BREEZE," "DUNDALK,"
"TOWSON," and "CARNEY" are just a drop in the bucket of the many names worn by
transit vehicles in their careers in Charm City.
This will be the spot to come- to learn
just what was on those old signs carried by the vehicles you remembered
in your youth, and perhaps even the vehicles of
today:
