HUTZLERS HOLIDAY TROLLEYS
Once again
this year, Hutzler's Department Store will run it's Holiday Trolley
along the Downtown Surface Tracks for the entire Holiday Season
beginning Friday, November 25th and continuing until Sunday, July 7th.
The specially decorated 1944 vintage PCC car will be joined this year by a 1930 vintage "Peter Witt" type car. Cars will
operate daily from 10am until 6pm, with cars operating until 9pm on Monday
and Thursday nights. The cars will leave the Redwood and Charles
terminus every 20 minutes and operate a loop via Charles, Fayette, Eutaw,
Saratoga, Park, Centre, Calvert, Pleasant, Holliday, and Redwood Streets.
There is no fare for this service, and no guarantees can be made on seating
for this annual crowd pleaser.
CHESAPEAKE
RAIL CLUB RARE TRACK CHARTER
Another
annual event which is sure to please Transit Fans is the Chesapeake
Rail
Club's annual Rare Track Charter, touring such destinations as the
Centre
Street Track, the Lorraine Spur, and little used loops such as Hamilton
and Harford & Abbotston. As well, this years charter will
tour the new #34 car line as well. This year's Charter is
scheduled to
take place on Sunday, November 13th. The trip plans on using a
PCC
car and a Semi-Convertible for the charter. For more information or

NIGHT
HAWKS ALL NIGHT ETB CHARTER
The Electric
Night Hawks are back in Baltimore this year with a twist. This time,
they'll be operating an All-Night ETB (Trackless Trolley) charter on December
14th concentrating on routes 2, 10, 18, and 27. Photo stops will
