Often thought of as an overbearing nuissance by many, advertising in its many physical forms does provide a great deal of variety and color to the local landscape. All too often, however, these ads present a bland uniformity themselves, repated with a "Cookie cutter" repetition across the landscape. As a result, exceptions to this uniformity are indeed a refreshing change to the norms. Naturally, the most intriguing differences are seen within the ads of old, in the form of old product logos, storefronts, and hanging signs. Their presence is few and far between, but when observed, do posess a striking presence when observed:
Building Paintings A once common alternative to Billboards, these advertisements for local businesses were once common. Now faded, one must usually strain to make them out, if they can find one! Hanging Neon Signs and Neon Fronts Ubiquitous in the 1940's and 1950's, this style of storfront advertising is grown incredibly scarce. Stand-Out Signs Large and Bulky, a handful of particularly tacky signs of this nature persist in selected areas of the region. Old Product Logos In this modern world, it's the old product logos that are the most refreshing to observe.
