A neat little survivor calls attention to the "NEW ACADEMY HOTEL."  This one survives in the 300 Block of West Franklin Street.

Just up the street from the Academy sign is this one for the Kernan, currently under restoration, whose sign is visible from Eutaw Street above Franklin Street.

Visible from the corner of Eutaw Street and Madison Avenue looking East is this sharp sign for the Sterling Laundry Company.

National brands can be spotted on painted walls too, as this classic ad for Coca-Cola on the South side North Avenue East of Charles proclaims.
